So, trying to get this down on bass and I have listened about 3 baker's dozens times and I swear I am hearing 7 notes on that final run. The posted tab shows :

I am NOT saying this is it, but possibly (with the extra note) it could be:

E---------------------------------6--8--"6"-----6--3-------------

or possibly:

Damn, it's been a long time since I looked at this one. Actually, I think they are both wrong. Here's what I would be going with now.

Hey Ed, thanks for the reply and your take on it! So I am in every sense of the word a "poser" of a bass player. I have never taken lessons, (but have asked for advise a thousand times), so I might be off here but... the reason I was thinking the ending of the riff was :
A----------------------8-------5--------------------------
E---------------------------------6--8--"6"--"8"---6--3-----

is because the main part is G-A#-C. just listened again with headphones and I think I may have gone to too many shows as my grey matter isnt letting me decren between my suggestion an yours. I'm going to try your way for a while and see what my bandmates thoughts are. Thanks again!
