I think he is typically using a Roland GR-55 modeler with a Meyer full-range powered wedge and has for years. He keeps the Meyer on the floor behind him (where a normal rig might go). This is from October 22.
He had a more traditional JBL/HK Bluesmaster/poweramp thing back when he toured with Furthur but I think he's just comfortable with the digital ethos these days -- as am I, it's totally consistent show to show and lets me concentrate on playing.
He may be using something else now instead of the Roland, but I don't think so, if you see him solo he's playing acoustic guitar sounds on his electric guitar and that's almost certainly the GK-55 system which works quite well for that.
