Newbie to the forums.

Hello, all. I'm new to the forums but not to the Dead. I started listening about a year ago, so definitely not as much of a veteran as the folks on here, but I digress. My favorite albums are Workingmans Dead, Built to Last, and Terrapin Station. My favorite shows are 8/27/72, 5/10/72, 6/17/91, 7/8/78, and 7/9/95. Can't wait to talk to y'all on the forums!

Welcome! That's a great list of shows. If you like the 7/8/78 Red Rocks show, definitely check out Dick's Picks 18 (2/3/78), if you haven't. One of my favorite shows from a great year.
I envy anyone listening to these shows and albums for the first time. Enjoy it, lots to discover.

Hi Megatokyo and welcome to the club. It’s never too late to “get on the bus”! (And for some fun GD history, read up a little on the Europe ‘72 tour, the Bozos, the Bolos, and the buses). Among my favorite shows was the 3-night stand at Winterland in San Francisco in February of ‘74. I attended all three.
