I have seen Jerry has had pitch shifters in hi chain. First an MXR, later a Digitech Whammy. However this is something I do not associate him with. I have found some examples where he uses it for pedal steel licks on Fire but did he use it more. Since he had the MXR he has had to have done it earlier, no? Would love to hear about some examples

I don’t specifically recall the exact show, but the whammy seemed to show up when corrina did, so 1992.

5-26-1995 Fire on the Mountain. IMO the last good Scarlet-Fire. And Jerry is clearly all over a whammy in the solo, starting at around 3:30 into FOTM.
