Hey gang, contemplating a new rig/setup. Has anyone run the SMS with an acoustic? My main is a AY-WY1 with Fishman Rare Earth Blend Mic + soundhold pup.

I have but preceded by one of these (which I own, though, is a pic off the 'net - that ain't my carpeting!) or try something like it.

Thanks. What'd you think of it without any effects? Serviceable, ok, good, great?

If you aren't looking for effects, just a solid acoustic Pre, I use the BBE Acoustimax. Love it! Mine's been going strong for over 20 years!

Thanks man! I'm using a Fishman which does amazing. But missing an SMS and hoping I could justify 2 birds, 1 stone

Were I starting from scratch, I, too, would prefer a dedicated acoustic instrument preamp over the old Boss pedal I have.
