Anybody here familiar with these? They came out of the Matsumoku factory in the ‘70s, sort of a knock off of the Ibanez Musician series of the time, as best I can tell. 24 frets but I’m not able to find out scale length. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

You can measure from the nut to the twelfth fret and double the number. This should give you the scale length. Cheers

Nope - never had a Memphis.
My Vantage VA800 is 25.25".

"You can measure from the nut to the twelfth fret and double the number.” That’s what I told the guy selling it on craigslist and he got back to me with 25”, which seemed imprecise.
Thanks for the Vantage measurement, ace.

While most guitars follow the lead of Fender (25.5”) or Gibson (24.75”) scale length, not all do. PRS, for example, uses 25”.
