I've been lurking on RuKind for a long while. I first saw the Grateful Dead at Deer Creek on 7/2/95 and no I was not one of the gate crashers. I like playing guitar and modifying them in search of the perfect tone. I'm still searching... At least that is what I tell my wife when I come home with a new project.

I am currently building a replica of Jerry's Alligator Stratocaster. I plan to share a lot more information on this build in the near future. Below is a picture I took before installing the bridge and tail piece. I still have more work to be done on this guitar but it is starting to come together.

Cheers,
Geoff

Hey, nice to meet you?

What's your starting point in building the alligatore replica? You're starting from a strat?
