Anyone have a good tab for Werewolves of London? a net search didn't really give me anything helpful...considering I'm trying to do it acoustic, heh.

Also, if any of you folks are really good with tabbing stuff out, there's this folks singer from the UK named Rory McLeod, who has a song called "No Blood For Oil", that I've been trying to get my head around for ages, and I just can't seem to get it down.

Here's a link to the song... definately worth a listen. (Oh, no worries on copyright or anything, he had it on his website for free download for a long, long time)

Enjoy, and thanks in advance!

Code: Select all
Werewolves of London
||: Asus4A / Gsus4G / | D / / / :||
I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand
Walking thru the streets of Soho in the rain
He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook's
Going to get himself a big dish of beef chow mein
Hi ho, the Werewolves of London............
If you hear his howling around the kitchen door
You better not let him in
Little old lady got mutilated last nite
Werewolves of London again
Hi ho, Werewolves of London.................
He's the hairy-handed gent who ran amuck in Kent
Lately he's been overheard in Mayfair
You better stay away from him, he'll rip your lungs out Jim
I'd like to meet his tailor
Hi ho, Werewolves of London..................
Well, I saw Lon Cheney walking with the Queen
Doing the werewolves of London
I saw Lon Cheney Jr. walking with the Queen
I saw a werewolf dringing a pina colada at Trader Vic's
And his hair was perfect
Hi ho, the Werewolves of London.....................

with spring training starting, i'm getting excited for what should be a good cubs season :-? , but does anybody have a tab for "Take Me Out To the Ballgame", either in chords or notes? that would be great, thanks.

it will indeed be a good cubs season! (of course, we say this every year) Hendry made some ballsy (and expensive) moves in the off-season and hopefully they pay off. Pinella will surely light some fire under the boys, and Soriano will benefit from Wrigley.

I do not believe Werewolves is a sus4 to major.
It is a 6 to a 5

Here is how I play it in G:
D -9-7----7-5------------
A -5-5----3-3----5-5-7-5-
E ---------------3-3-3-3-

Sorry if the tabs weren't the right ones. I don't play the song so I didn't know I was just trying to help.

Oh so sorry BW! I didn't mean to sound harsh.
I posted it before my morning coffee and cig!!
Sometimes my morning voice is a bit too blunt.
(many say that about my afternoon and evening too!)

Try it like I outlined and see what you think!

I, too, play it in G. I'm a huge Zevon fan and that's how he did it, although I play it with this slight variation:

D -9-7----7-5--------5---
A -5-5----3-3----5-5-3-5-
E ---------------3-3---3-

After that, the verses are all just D, C, G, Gsus, G.
At least I think it's Gsus. It's basically a G with a C thrown in, like one would play in Bertha...
