I picked up one of these used last year and it sounds awesome, it has worked great at practice, but I have had it shut down twice at gigs when turning it up. After searching the web, it sounds like this is a common problem, earlier units were having problems with the fan, which may have caused earlier issues. My fan works, but it still shuts down when I start to push it. It seems like others have had this problem. I have contacted Rocktron and I'm waiting to hear back. I have a feeling these issues are why they stopped making this amp and are making the Mainline 300 instead now.

I've had the same problem with an older version - it seems the older versions have very inconsistent fan operation. I really liked the unit, so I picked up a newer version with the big top mounted fan - I haven't had an issue yet, but it makes me nervous.
