I use a PRS custom 24 and modded the electronics to put in a unity gain buffer and an effects loop and bypass switch. Great guitar. I should be getting a resurrection bolt tribute very soon!

I'm definatly ffeeling good about my team, but I'm working night's at the moment and haven't seen the games, but no worries, I got a new toy to fill up all my free time

Got my new Rez Bolt. Sweet guitar - but a couple of gripes... The buffer was cooked - it cut in and out with sudden pops. Lucky enough I had a spare buffer that I like better anyhow so I wired that in and all is well. Then, the mid p/u tone pot did nothing - had to rewire it and throw in a capacitor - all is well with that now too. Then finally, the fret ends are not flush and finished - they stick out of the sides of the neck with sharp little burrs - grrr... Well, I ordered a fret finishing file and I'll get that corrected this week & then it will be 100%. Good thing I'm good with guitar electronics or I'd be in for a few $$ for repair work.

Geez I can see the frets hanging off the sides!! That sucks when you pay alot of money for a really cool guitar and have to put that much work into it. Sharp edged fretsare a big no no in my book.

In their defense - they had built this guitar a couple of years ago for a guitar show. A hurricane had destroyed their shop, they didn't make the guitar show and so they hadn't finished the guitar. They recently had someone buy it and they threw in the electronics and shipped it off to him. The guy that bought it needed money and had to sell it immediately after getting it. I bought it from him. So, I don't know what his original deal was with Resurrection - maybe it was an as-is type of deal. Everything that I've ever heard of their work was very positive - so... who knows. I got a very good deal on the guitar even for the work I had to put into it (which didn't take me too long).

If I had bought it directly from Resurrection I would have sent it back to be finished and I'm sure they would have fixed it up without a problem.

But it's all working 100% now and it's a gorgeous guitar. I gigged with it last night for the first time - outstanding!
