On January 20, 2007 - New Haven, Connecticut's beloved sports and music arena, The New Haven Veteran's Memorial Coliseum - was imploded because it was too expensive to attempt to revitalize it to its once majestic splendor. The demolition and removal will hopefully make room for future improvements in the area.

The only venue where I showed up without a ticket, couldn't score one and got shut out. Sometime in the mid 80's I believe. Tough ticket that day.

Pretty good success rate though.

On the flip side, I got into the rescheduled date 1/17/79, with stub not from the original date for that show, but from the May '78 show.
