I can't fucking wait!!!!!!
This totally fucking rocks!!!!!
I'm so pumped right now, I can't sit in my seat! A cubicle in your current job is not the best place to celebrate getting a new one.

Today is my 3-week anniversary here in CO and I've been loving every minute of it (well, I'm not as fond of the time between 8:30-5:30 M-F, but I guess I have to put up with that :)
I've been swamped with stuff here, so I haven't been around much, but I thought I'd share two pics I snapped last weekend. This is what I see on my drive to work.

Nice pics, sure beats the hell out of the homeless people and their excrement I have to dodge while trying to get into my office building.

Thanks. I changed my location. I'm in Broomfield now, but I work in Boulder. Broomfield is about 30 minutes SE of Boulder and 30 minutes N of Denver. We're just renting a house now until we find a place to live...permanently. I'm not moving from here.
dan--where is it that you live? That reminds me of Philly (my original location).

I work in downtown Sacramento.
I don't mean to highjack the thread but it's soapbox time...
A couple of things really contribute to the homeless problem here. The confluence of the Sacramento and American River is practically in the middle of town. Thus, lots of free camping.
Sacramento is the birthplace of the Union Pacific Railroad and we have a huge railyard that attracts the freight train riders of America.
We have a local charity group that provides 2 free meals a day in the downtown area.
Folsom Prison and the entire state prison system dumps recently released inmates at the downtown bus station.
Last but not least, a light rail system that shuttles the homeless all over town between meals.
