For various reasons, haven't been building much lately. Just started rebuilding my work shop and gearing up to get back at it. Thought I'd share the last two I built before my hiatus and a pic of the bass in progress....

thanks guys - that bass is spalted maple over walnut.

The two guitars are all tru-oil finishes, but I might have to dip back into nitro on the bass...we'll see....really trying to get away from spraying. Hate the fumes, hate wet sanding, and my oil technique is getting better, but it's just not a true, deep gloss....
