Dumb question: i'm using Windows media to burn a show I downloaded. In the past it always puts a space between songs. How do I prevent this? It's really quite annoying to have a pause in the middle of an awesome Scarlet Fire or Estimated Eyes jam y'know? Thanks folks. :?

Using Windows Media Player 10+, there's no way to prevent the gap. It's a "feature". :)

I'd suggest using iTunes, Nero, etc. You should be able to find a program that should do gapless burning (either free or commercial).

Seems kinda like a worthless feature if you ask me. I ended up using Nero. Seems like a better program. you have the option to burn as a regular audio or MP3. Dunno if there are drawbacks to MP3, but one plus in my book is you can put a whole show on one CD. Anyway, thanks for your help. Peace

the "drawback" to mp3 is compatability. a bare-bones CD player won't be able to play it, mp3 playing is an added feature that is becoming more standard
