we are getting hammered with snow here in Colorado!! It's truly a Blizzard. Luckily, I finally got the coveted Snow Day that I haven't had for many many years. With any luck, this will extend an extra day or two.
Time to go work on the sled run!!!

Yep, about 2 feet already in Parker. I had to dig a path from by back door out to the yard so my poor dog, Gretal Althea, could pee! What a hoot that was!

Darn, I thought you might be submitting "Snow Day" by Trip Shakespeare!
"It's coming dow-w-w-w-n/ Slow day for the teacher, and her wheels are spinning now... all the roads are closed and the stores are loot for vagabonds..."

I'm so jealous. I haven't seen a white christmas since I used to wear snow pants. Hopefully the snow will still be there in a week! Hopefully, it will snow several feet more when I'm there and I won't be able to make it back to NC!

No snow in Hawaii? Christ, global warming really is a serious and very real threat, isnt it?
the last time I saw a LOT of snow was in Golden Colorado...I think 2003. We actually got snowed out of a snowboard trip.
Does that even make sense?

there has been quite a biting wind here in CentralNY lately but that is all...I'd much rather have the snow. And to all you people with small driveways who use a snowblower

Right there brotha/sista...some guy told me a few weeks ago I should get one and i have like a 20 foot driveway!

Snow in the mountains and mostly rain/"wintry mix" here in the valleys. One time about 5 years ago we got nice fall during a gig with the biggest flakes I have ever seen anywhere: 2-3 inch spinning UFO's of snow.

Ben -
I find something very Zen about digging myself out by hand. My driveway is a masterpiece. I had to shovel it 7 times yesterday. I'm about to suit up, strap on the ipod and take off another 7-8 inches from last night.
But, its another SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!! Work got cancelled again!!

The Denver Int'l Airport is CLOSED, baby!
Hope nothing goes screwy with my changing planes in SLC tomorrow...
