Hi, I'd like to wire an SMS CTP > DCM200L > 1X12 weber cali and I'm a little confused by what speaker impedance I should get.

8ohms works well with the Carvin.

Thanks! A few more questions:
1) with the above set up, the amp should be run in un-bridged mode correct?
2) Is there any problem with not having a load on the second channel?
3) Am I reading the manual correctly; with the impedance switch out, the amp can deliver up to 100w to the 8ohm speaker and with it in only 60w. So if I've got it in the 100w position I'd blow my speaker at max volume right?

please forgive my newbie questions, I'm very new to this whole thing.

Just run one channel, unbridged. Whats the power rating of the Weber?

Probably wont blow it but... just push the switch in to be safe at 60w.
