I love Jerry. I love Teles. I have wanted to be able to go from Jerry tone to full on country tele with a flick of a switch and do it in style. I considered hacking up an American tele but figured i could just build it for the same amount of money and get exactly what i want.... Specs and photos of the beginning of this build:

Body: Chambered Maple Quilt on Swamp Ash with binding and tiger eye finish. All the fat man contours. Strat controls and a rear rout.
Neck: Moses Graphite 22 fret tele neck
Bridge: Winkinson Tele vintage with 3 brass saddles
Nut: Brass
Pickups: Neck: Duncan Antiguity II, Middle: Dimarzio Super 2 split Coil, Bridge: Barden Gatton
Controls: Strat 5 Way w S1 to split coil the Dimarzio
Tuners: Sperziel Locking

My plan on the electronics is to swap middle tone control for an S1 switch that will do the split coil on the Super II. I have both 250k and a 500k S1 pot, so i think that if i just use the S1 tone pot for the super II I should use the 500k pot. I am considering reversing the switch throw so that the coil is split when the switch is disengaged and both coils when engaged. I am considering the buffer but not sure how to implement into this control set up. I have plenty of space in the cavity as warmoth does a good rear rout that gives lots of space.

Any advice on wiring or anything else would be great!

That looks like an awesome Tele! I love the quilt top. The Warmoth stuff I have has all been awesome.

Here's my Tele-ish Jerry build. It was my first guitar assembly project and it was Jerry-fied by milobender. It's an awesome guitar. The body was not from Warmoth but I noticed that they are now making carved-top Teles I'm itching to try one of those for a new toy.

That is a great looking Jele... Are those P90s in Neck and Bridge? If so can you tell me how you have that wired up? I am doing Antiquity/SuperII/Barden or S/H/S, which is not real popular with wiring diagrams available on the net.

They're P94s (P90s in a standard humbucker size). They are awesome pickups, real screamers. Brian White (milobender) did all the wiring but here's what I think is all in there:
P94s - to the mini-toggles to switch polarity I think
Super II - to mini toggle to coil-tap -->
standard OBEL set up though has a Waldo buffer and a Blaster with a toggle and cool blue/green LEDs to switch between the two. I like both, the buffer is cleaner and seems a bit brighter, the blaster adds some gain and gets things a little dirtier. I find that in bright, live rooms I like the buffer and outdoors or in dead rooms I like the blaster.

I love the Bardens too. I've got a Warmoth WGD with 3 Barden humbuckers that is a great guitar. I love their single coil pups too.

Do you happen to have a wiring schematic for having both the buffer and blaster in your guitar? I'm putting together a Wolf tribute and have been wanting to do that but can't figure out how. Thanks!

I don't have the schematic, milobender did the work, he may share that info. It's cool, toggles between the two with a two colored LED to let you know which is engaged.
