I learn so much here & just wanted to share a meager tone samplin' in case anyone is interested in these pedals with the SMS JG pre. Fair warning: I like reverb, don't really know Dead tunes yet so no sweet JG licks, & I don't have a real Jerry setup per se... no SD2 pickups / McIntosh amp / JBL's... however I do have a 10 yo 12" Weber ceramic Cali (aluminum dome) in an iso cab & a decent H&K ss amp (cf200) so it's not too shabby imho. But I'm just a goofer .. & it's Madison Square Bedroom only for me! full specs in the video...

Fantastic sounding rig skajellafetty! That OD is real smooth. Reverb sounds nice. I am never happy with the reverb from my spring tanks but have not been able to take the jump to anything else. Are you using the SMS reverb at all?

thank ya TeeJay... I usually don't use the SMS verb, or if I do it's maybe at 1-2, but for that video there's no SMS verb... just the mic going into a small mackie mixer with an alesis nanoverb II (Hall 2, # 8... I think #4 setting later in vid with less verb) in it's aux loop
