I think I was a fan of Star Trek when I was 7 because I remember being euphoric upon receiving a taser gun for Christmas about then. That didn't last into adulthood, or even teenage years I admit, but Nimoy is a cultural icon. I remember Invasion of the Body Snatchers and some other roles as fondly as the quintessential, dry, Spock. He needs a theme song lol.

Um, I belive that was a phaser gun. Spock would never use a taser.

When I go into a meeting and have to silence my phone, I still think "set phaser to "stun"".
