Just an amazing recording, incredible Jerry tone and a show I was at to boot! My second dead show in fact.

The solo in Loser is stellar, and great Stella Blue, amazing Jerry licks and tone in Satisfaction and great vocals in that one.

Really cool space, great other one. And the first set is filled with grateful goodness.

It's out there for everyone's enjoyment.

I was at this show. It's funny because my most vivid memory results in disappointment.

It was during Lost Sailor, towards the end when the are in the soft part, working up to the segue into St. Of Circumstance.......I recall thinking to myself, "it feels like I'm floating on a cloud", followed by me freaking out because immediately after that Bob said, "feels like you're floating on a cloud, doesn't it?", and I was like, "WHOA"....

Only thing is, years later, I finally got a tape of that show and......well....Bob never said that......lol.

There were a number of incredible shows that tour. 4/6/82, set 2 might be the best Grateful Dead I have ever heard, and for sure, 4/2 is my favorite Scarlet/Fire.

Well speaking of freaking things I went to this show as well, first time they played the cavernous carrier dome, a massive bubble on the Syracuse U campus, after seeing them in Alpine Valley that summer.

Many freaky things happened to me at this show, must have been the window panes, if you know what I mean, and I was like "why do the keep playing playin' in the band. Somehow I made to to the 10th row with a buddy from high school.

This is another great listen.

And yah, I never thought that Rochester show was so hot until a year ago when I downloaded an audience tape of it to learn some Satisfaction licks.

I would have been at the Syracuse show the night before Rochester. I made all (both?) the Dome shows too- tough acoustics in that place- yikes.

We'll be back at the Dome this Saturday for the Frozen Dome Classic- they're trying to break the all-time indoor hockey attendance record and our Oswego State Lakers are playing in the preliminary game.

Should stories of that Rochester show be shared in a public forum?

So...I was outside handing out "Religious Materials." Very small print. I look up ...and a cop on horseback gives me the universal sign for keep it down. Scared out of my freakin' mind, was I.

Great show!!! I also score my all-time favorite tie-dye from the gutter that night. Was that the rainy, freezin' cold Rochester show...or was that '85. I was not at 11/5/77 Sadly.

Warning. This whole story may have all happened 11-8-85. But I was at both.

Scaricuse sorry Syracuse was the war men. A small venue I'm told but didn't go. I did make the three Carrier Dome shows. The acoustics were colossally bad. Except in the 10th row. But that may have been the windows helping out with all those panes.

I went to the 83 Rochester show too. The one with the Bob star. That was a great show too. Shit they were all great shows. Upstate NY rocked in the 80s.

My first show was 4/19/1982 - I love listening to shows from that year.

Yeah I love me some 1982 Jerry...his playing was so focused, intense yet disciplined, and purposeful that year.

I saw some stuff at the Onondaga War Memorial too. And the Scarier Dome. Stuff I should not divulge here...but wait...it might be therapeutic! I always dug Rochester more. Rougher around the edges. Better sound.

Now a whole lot of these bands I saw because of girls. I just want to be clear...

I had fun. Once I found me some Jerry in '81, the bus ride became The Ride. Where is it going anyway? I've been wondering for a really long time!
