OBEL switch pop sound

The switch for my OBEL makes a pop when I go back and fourth between the fx loop and straight out
There is a pull down resistor on the stratoblaster but not on the buffer out . Would adding a 100k pull down resistor after the buffer output cap to ground be nescessary as well to avoid the switch pop?
Any advice will help
Thx, Pat

Is this a recent build? Tiger? Wolf?

The reason why I ask is I have done a few Tiger jobs. All have been dead quiet. Is this a combination with both a blaster & a buffer?

A little more info would help.
Peace
M

This is a mod to a hard tail strat copy
The simple jfet buffer is after the 5 way to the OBEL switch. the blaster is between the vol 500k and the output jack
There is a master tone 500k off the 5 way switch with the 3 pu terminals bridged, the tone cap is .022 ceramic disk
I can try to put the 100k pull down resistor in the buffer or can it be after the blaster out and the ground on the output jack?
The latter would be more convenient
Thanks again for your thoughts
Pat

My Tiger has no pulldown cap, my Wolfish has two- one as part of the GGG blaster clone and another (if I remember right) from one of the switches to ground. Neither has any kind of pop when flipped.

Back on topic- on the Wolf wiring schematic there was a 1M resistor between the middle pole of the OBEL switch (where the blaster out wire connects) and the ground bus wire.

A pull down resistor in that position may help, and you might try the same value of resistor from where the blaster IN wire connects to the ground bus.,, I think it may do you better there.

Thanks for the suggestions!
I'm sorry I didn't see these replys- 2 out of 3 of my OBEL guitars have this problem so I'll try them out tonight and post results
Thx again
