Hi All
I picked up a Real Mccoy Wah recently. I've been looking for a Colorsound but have'nt had any luck. Has anyone out there tried one of these? Here a sample with my band.
Please let me know if this link does not work. Thanks

I have the Clyde Deluxe. It has a three-way switch for different voicings- one of which is "Colorsoundish".

You might want to try a Wilson Effects Tunable Colorful Clone:

This is a pretty good copy of the old Macari colorsound wah pedal.

FWIW, Wilson Effects has a great rep as a wah maker. The stuff is pricey but well-regarded. There are several demos of this pedal on youtube, though most are from retailers, plus one from gearmandude.

Sounds great to me in the clip. Nice keyboards too.

I have heard good thing about those, but don't recall actually using one. I also have a Fulltone Deluxe which is good, I prefer the "Colorsound" setting as well with Fender/JBL's but I don't use the wah anywhere near as much as I used too. I used to prefer Vox over Crybaby years ago. The old Colorsound can be finicky and one of the parts are known for going bad, no authentic replacement available obviously. What you got now does the job well that's for sure.

Which model Real McCoy is that??

Nice playing and a great sound with the band. Ohh… and I loved The Eleven. Loved that tune for 1000 years.

Peace

Thanks All
The model I'm using is the RMC C3FL. It's very tweakable. I have played the fulltone. Nice pedal. I will check out The WIlson wah. I'm a real sucker for the Early 70's jams!!

was gonna post this, I have a Rippah Q that can do the Coloursound thing and a lot of other cool wah sounds. Wilson Wahs rock. Plus when compared to other boutique wah makers, theyre stuff really isnt that pricey in comparison unless you deck it out with all NOS stuff which I think is kind of unnecessary
