Hey all, I've had my Scarlet Fire Wolf for a little while and I'm starting to get pretty familiar with it. I have to say it is one helluva guitar. I can't recommend Leo's work enough. This thing plays like a dream sounds even better and has looks that kill. I've been intending to do a video review, and I still am, but I've had a time finding a night when I don't have my kids and my neighbor isn't home so I can make some noise. Here's a few video clips from a recent gig. If anyone has any questions about working with Leo or anything about the guitar please don't hesitate. Our keyboard player, David, is out of frame. I didn't set up the camera real carefully.

Here's a Phish tune, before you Phish fans cut me up, I don't know that I've ever really listened to the original. I thought it sounded like they had rewritten the Allman Bros, Southbound so that's how I approached it:

Now I'm hearing Funky Bitch. Hey, do you guys do any String Cheese Incident tunes? I'm getting heavily into them these days. If the Dead are on one side of the "jam band" (so to speak - personally I dislike the phrase) spectrum and Phish on the other, seems to me SCI is squatting on the fulcrum.

We haven't and I have to admit that I'm woefully ignorant of their music. I saw them once back in the late 90s I think. They came through Blacksburg and played the local bar we had a weekly gig at. They came into my music store and hung out for a bit, all super nice folks and they put on a great show that night but I haven't really kept up. I'll look into them again. I'm with you on the "jam band" phrase . . .

Great sounding tone and playing tcsned. I got to play one of Leo's Wolf guitars at the Tiger seminar last month and was really impressed. It sounded excellent both acoustically and plugged in to a non-Jerry style amp. It had great feel and playability.
