Hello from Québec city!

hi, your forum is the best. I bought europe 72 in 1975 and did not like it. Finally got hooked by GD in 1985 through my friends . Terry Kell and Roy Schneiper. Never got to see them live , but spent many hours listening to tapes.

Main interest: Garcia's playing/tone musical philosophy and general dead way of operating sound reinforment (like no grill on speaker cabs)
Phil Lesh massive bass tone, understanding what weir is actually playing.

Been playing myself for 25 years and sounds a lot more like greg ginn/buzz osborne than like JG.

Good olde Quebec at carnival time is in the realm of a Dead show :-)
Braduer and skiing and renting a room from some nice old lady that speaks French lol.

as weel as a jerry garcia band fan, i have read somewhere that he saw 100 shows of each band, dead and jgb between 73 and 94.
