Can you explain with a bit more detail?
Are you wanting an "on-off" switch to power the buffer on and off.
Are you wanting an "in/out" bypass switch so you can either go thru the buffer or bypass it?
Is your buffer wired after your volume pot? And what value pot are you using?

First, go through all the Wolf and Tiger wiring diagrams that Waldo has posted on his site- that's where most of us start (thanks again Mike). Trace out the signal path until you understand it.
Second, look at the thread on "buffer or blaster". It talks in detail about how a buffer (active) requires a 25k volume pot, and a no buffer (passive) uses a 500k volume pot. You can't have it both ways without some complicated wiring. Take your pick.
Once you have been through both those information sources come back with any specific questions and we're here to help.
