curious about finish for my cab

I recently built a 2x12 jerry cab baltic birch ect. and I got a Lacquer finish for it, i was curious if im supposed to
finish the inside of the cab aswell? or just the outside? tone difference?

I don't know how finish on the inside would affect the tone but can tell you my SSP HT-style cabs are unfinished on the inside.

My TRM 2x12 is unfinished inside. As for the outside, I used a "Min-Wax Poly Shades" in the lightest shade they had available, something like three coats, with some steel wool sanding betwixt coats. It was really easy.

I should probably add my TRM 2X10 (see dedicated thread w/pics) is also unfinished inside.

+1 for stickers. My cab is taking a beating being hauled around to gigs but just looks better with age. For my birch ply box for my effects rack I didn't bother with a finish. Just stickers from the few benifit gigs and festivals we've been at this summer. It's starting to tell a narrative of Walk On Dead's travels.
