Juggling Suns at Moondog's in Pittsburgh Pa Sat Oct 21

SSIA.....this show is not to be missed. If you've seen the Suns before, then you know why...if you haven't, you owe it to yerself to catch em.
I'm sittin in with Fungus for the first hour 9-10, and then it's all JS til 2am. These guys are as good as any GD cover out there....DSO included. $8 cover at the door. Small venue, kind folks and the best bar owner on planet earth.

So, where in the "Burgh is Moondogs, pray tell? I'm up north of there in godforsaken Venango County, about 1.5 hours away. Love to meet some folks from the locality.

Moondog's is in Blawnox which is right off rte 28. It's about 5 mi just north of downtown Pitts. The place has been booking both local and national acts for at least 20 some years. Saw Derek Trucks there when he was about 14yo. Anthony Gomes played there last night in fact.
He often has somewhat obscure but very talented national blues acts....of course, he often books jam-bands there as well. The phone is 412 828 2040

Wasn't able to make it down, was hanging out with my girlfriend up in Erie. But, if you guys have an email list of any sort, I'd love to be included. I've seen Fungus once before at a place in Squirrel Hill the name of which escapes me.
I'm a transplant here, and although Pittsburgh is about 1.5 hours away, I REALLY need to meet some ( more or less ) local heads. There are absolutely none here in Venangoland. There were a few, but they have moved away.
