Hey! From Boulder/Gunbarrel CO

I'm also known as Scott in real life though I'm not too fond of the name. I wouldn't consider the 50+ shows my wife and I caught between '86 and '93 as being on tour, but lots of amazing adventures just the same. We lived in California in 86-91, then just packed up and moved to Boulder where we still live. We also had a good time, about 60+, with Widespread Panic while Mikey was alive. Jerry and Mikey were the two guitarists that you could just hop on and ride like a surfer. Maybe it was all the combined sufari/Dead Shows that made me feel it. We camp, surf and show up and down the coast from San Diego to San Francisco! I loved that my longboard was always safe on or under any vehicle we took while inside the show.
I have been playing electric and acoustic for over 33 years and have been building electric guitars (Gunbarrel Custom Guitars) for about two years now. Strangely enough after 31 years of playing Strats I picked up a used LsL T-Bone and almost overnight it became my main guitar until I built myself a Telemaster (and wound the pickups). Last November I finished my first carved top Les Paul with P-90s I wound and a Mojoaxe wrap tailpiece. It may be the best guitar I have ever played and is super expressive. I use a few Bearfoot effects through Swart amps.
Our kids are still young at 9.5 and 6 yo twins all heavily into The Beatles. I'm still up for anyone wanting to jam electric or acoustic/bluegrass that is not too far away. I do not drink and have not really smoked much since becoming a Dad even though it is legal here. I never would have guessed anything in that last sentence 10 years ago lol!
