Neon DR strings...

...So I gave Neon DR strings a whirl at a festival show over the weekend.... I have to say - I love em!
They have the slipperyness of elixir-type strings, but somehow retain the overall meatyness and feel of standard electric strings; I got used to them very quickly. As for the tone, there is only a slight shift towards "dryness"; a bit off the top of the metallic twang that accompanies new strings. The coating makes little difference on the fingers except when bending up high on E; the string clings a bit easier, with less effort. As far as longevity... We'll see. I usually change my strings after every other gig, mainly cus I run the risk of breaking one soon after... But I'll leave these Neon DRs on until I break one...
