Set of Alembic Pickups - Help with ID, etc

I picked up an old guitar at the local shop last week with a set of excellent condition Alembic pickups - I can't find any literature on these anywhere except a word or two that says the green ones are vintage… everything is here, they sound terrific and are close to mint. Anybody have any info on these - what era are they from… how much is this set-up worth?

Those look strange to me. I don't recall seeing that green color before. I also don't believe that the early vintage pickups had the name embossed on them. The font looks weird as does the beveled edge on the bridge pickup. Perhaps they were originally on one of the Pan-Alembics, some other export model or may just be bogus all together. You'll get all the answers you need over at the Alembic Club (www.alembic.com)

My first thought is that they came from a California Special but I haven't seen that color before. Mica will tell you.

I think the Pan-Alembic theory holds water also...

This is what the underbellies look like… no identification molded into the backs, but they do have the mfg by label...

I think I have seen that exact label on Pan Alembics.
