Grateful Dead Music Forum

Has anyone tried using or does use noise cancelling headphones to use as protection from hearing loss? If so any particular brand you like/recommend? Ear plugs take away too much sound and are not comfortable.

My hearing is B-A-D bad!! But I just can't walk away from playing in the band.....
