12 yr. old Head

Anybody catch "Head Set" on the Dead Channel today? A 12 yr. old kid from New York hosted. He did a really good job--nice choices. Wish I was that hip when I was 12.

I was 13 when I saw my first show, but I probably couldn't have picked a good set of tunes till I was 16.

my big brother used to die a little each time I'd sing favorites from the softy love songs stations as a 10 year old, then boy band pop a few years later. He knew all the cool stuff and I got woken to Zeppelin's Black Dog more times than I can count. He scared me a little with his Dead show stories and I was sure early on they were heavy metal 
. My Dad played Beatles and originals(guitar player too) up into his thirties then gave it up, but my parents still love live music, not really the Dead though. When they come over, mom hones in on my cat, dad hones in on my guitars. But yeah when I was 12 I was a total dork.
