I saw this post on another board, this is this guy's first build:



He used a product from Wudtone- hand applied, no spraying, lets the grain show through. Aside from the beauty, it is supposed to allow the wood to resonate better. My SG has a finish that shows a lot of grain and it is very alive and resonant.

Anyone ever use this or know anything about it?

No experience with Wudtone, but I do like Osmo Polyx Oil. Not really oily. Dries hard and smooth. Really brings out the chatoyance. Please feel free to disregard this unsolicited opinion.
Easy to apply. Low VOC. Great tonal compliment. Here is a Uke my son and I built for my wife.



Just to liven thing up here in Deadland.
