Hey all - I am on the lookout for some high quality 0.22uf Ceramic Disc Capacitors for a Garcia build that should be commencing in the very near future. I have found a bunch but I am looking for something of the highest quality. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks!!

I don't think you have to be too concerned. Keep in mind that ceramic disk caps are just about "bottom end" of the cap feeding chain, so you're asking for the highest quality of the cheapest, lowest-tech cap. But I guess that within even the ceramic cap category there might be a "good/better/best"?

BYOC usually uses Xicon ceramic caps where they're needed in their kits. They sell them individually too. Small Bear also sells Xicon. Small Bear has a different make Mil-spec cap, but I don't think in .22. It's 10% tolerance as opposed to the Xicon 5%?

Jerry used bottom of the barrel 50v .o22uf ceramic disc. Yes it's .022 or 223k. A nice set of paper in oil caps will add some richness/fullness to your tone.
