Pedal board questions

I'm updating/upgrading my pedal board so I'd like some ideas from some of you who know a lot more about this kind of stuff than I do (which means just about everyone).

I'm currently playing a Sheraton II guitar (though sometimes I play a Fender Lead) through a Princeton reverb amp.

My current arrangement is:

Tuner
Q-tron
Pigtronix philosophers tone compressor/sustainer
Blues driver
Behringer flanger
Carbon copy

I'm going to replace the Behringer changer because I just can't find any settings that provide usable tones and I'm thinking of getting a boss bf-3.

My questions are:

1. Is there another effect I should consider instead of a flanker? If so, what?
2. Is there a better order than the one I'm using?

Thanks for the advice.

Peace.

I'd consider replacing the flanger with a phaser. Lot's of good choices, I believe Jerry used an MXR.

Your pedal order looks pretty good. I often place my modulation after the delay (or in parallel) so the delay doesn't chop up the modulated signal.

The other change you might consider is to move the compressor. Either before the Q-tron to drive it or after the drive for some Trey Anastasio stye sustain.

You're off to a good start, just trust your ears and don't be afraid to experiment.
