I demo'd a 2012 American Standard Strat, at 3:10 and 5:50 there is the line 6 mutron lll model.
Not too bad, nice that it comes in a package with lots of other things on the M13

I had my FM4 mutron sound really closely dialed in, but once I got my qtron, I realized that the analog circuit is somehow effected by my amp to produce that subtle 'velvety' texture of the envelope sound. I was never able to achieve this with the FM4.

Good insight, I don't use the effect that much, I mean I live for Jerry but I'm using it in a different format, I loved your video that you demo'd the Qtron with the tube screamer.. You think I would be happy with the micro?

Thanks

I dunno man... I've never played with a micro. =) It can't be that far off tho. Isn't it the same circuit, just in a smaller box?

I think it's more of an auto-wah than full-fledged tweakable envelope filter. Probably better to go with the qtron or qtron plus.

Greetings from Tel Aviv (RUKIND is everywhere!). I've found that the key to having the M13's Tron Up model sound its best is preceding it with one of their compressors set appropriately to compliment the Tron Up. When I return to the states, I'll reopen this thread and post pics of my comp and Tron Up settings. How exactly you set the comp model on yours will depend on the strength of your own guitar's output signal.

Try these and let me know what you think (season your settings to taste, of course, especially re: the comp threshold)!
