I know, he wrote and performed some great songs. We're gonna play Call Me the Breeze for him tonight. :(

JJ Cale was great song writer and performer. I think that most people never heard of him but they know his songs.

He is one of the great ones. I got to see him play twice. Once with Widespread Panic and once at the Union Ballroom in Austin, tiny room. JJ Cale set up his own pedals (looked like a frumpy guitar tech, mumbling about on stage) and then put on his guitar and turned around and started playing. So good. Listen to the album, "5" with your girl.
