Former singer of The Dead, Joan Osborne, will be performing a unique online concert of The Grateful Dead covers this Tuesday night at 9p.m. EDT on Stageit.com.

That is one of the biggest under statements I've seen on this board. Your versions of Crazy Fingers and Must've Been the Roses are amonng the best I've heard.

Joan,
You absolutely brought the big heap of Soul to any Dead iteration. I would argue that your are the only one who has come close since the J-Man tipped over, not that others aren't great too. I was stone cold sober on the night you played at the Gorge (George, WA), and the rendition of Brokedown Palace you delivered brought me to the state of sobbing. Jerry got me with a Stella a couple of times...you hit it out of the park! 9/21/2003.
Also...my wife & I saw you around New Years at Phil's place. Great night!
