PRS S2 line

These just announced guitars might make an interesting starting point for a nice Jerrycaster ... they are made in the Maryland factory with the regular US guitars but at a very reasonable price point.
The Custom in particular; it's based on the Custom 24, so it's got 24 frets,set neck, maple top and mahogany body. These have a street price of $1399. I won't be stocking them, as they do not make them lefty, but I can get them righthanded with a nice rukind discount.

I think JK's PRS is one of the NLA reasonably priced EG models, with the appropriate mods.
