hughes and kettner tubeman plus rack mount pre

anyone use these for jerry type stuff? one is available on local craigslist for 225. i know jk used one of the hk pre's for awhile and it is supposed to be a good fender blackface pre, but can't find much info on this one online. it is not the floor model, it is a rackmount preamp.
