4-17-72 DVD Torrent

Excellent quality. Lots of nice steady shots, no fancy "trippy" graphics. Great shots of each member playing. Some great (and sad) shots of Pig singing. Man does he look thin in this. Keith is also very young looking and fully upright and awake. ;)

Musically it's a nice set for 72, but nothing outstanding (except for a really nice, first-time-played He's Gone).

Enjoy.

just downloaded it, man this footage is fantastic, way better than the Sunshine Daydream concert, the quality is actually on par with DVD releases if you can believe that

I wrote my message while watching it last night. Truckin' is the last cut on the disc, so I hadn't seen it yet.

And yes, it was quite tasty. I happily stand corrected. ;)

WOW, just finished downloading it and its great man, a million thanks. downloaded pretty fast too. gotta love seeders!

the footage is unbelievable for that era, and the boys really rocked. I must admit although I play a telecaster the tone on that Alligator Strat is hard to beat. what is Bobby playing, some sort of gibson?

and its also nice to see Pig still kickin, and interesting to see just Billy on the kit.

Hopefully a bunch of people have gotten a chance to dl this video.

For those that haven't (and for those that want the whole thing), I point you to this:

http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/details.php?id=9101

It's the whole show (give or take)! Including a Dark Star! 3 DVDs worth of prime, '72 Dead. Lots of seeders at the moment. I'll be setting my work computer to seed throughout the weekend once I leave today, so they'll be at least one full copy all weekend. I just finished downloading and it looks really good.

Enjoy!

Can somebody explain how this all works? I have part of this show on video and I would like to get the rest. I can't download files since I have dialup. Every time I click the lick my pc locks up and I get kicked off the net.

I wouldn't recommend dl'ing some of these torrents on dial-up. 11GB through that narrow pipe would take a really long time.

However, some instructions for what this whole torrent thing is and how to do it can be found here:

http://community.rukind.org/viewtopic.php?t=1437

And clicking the link I posted earlier shouldn't cause your PC to freeze/lockup/etc. like that. Methinks there's something else not kosher with your computer.

Thanks for the suggestions! By the way that is a Gibson ES 345 or ES 355. The ES 355 has the "Custom" diamond inlays in the headstock. It is just like a ES 335, but has stereo outputs. He plays it in a lot of early show from about '69 to '74 or so.
