Uncle John's Band will kick off a series of 'commemorative shows' at Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa, FL on various dates, the first being March 21, 2013. It was 32 years ago that the Grateful Dead found themselves on a rare European tour bringing inspirational music to a vibrant crowd at the the Rainbow Theatre in London, England. We welcome you to come celebrate the anniversary of this event and enjoy Uncle John's Band's re-creation of a special concert. Where were you on March 21, 1981? I will definitely tune in and check out the live stream....fyi, I was visiting my brother a couple years back who lives in Tampa and we went and saw you guys on a Thursday night at that very venue, Skippers. You guys played, You Ain't Going Nowhere" and had I known ahead of time that you were gonna play it, I would've been that chump that asks if I could sit in. I had a great time and you guys performed really well, loved the place itself and with that in mind, I will check it out tonight....rip it up!

I was at this show and they sounded awesome, even though "weir" was absent. The crazy 81 tempos were there, Let It Grow was ridiculous!
