How does he get that fat low sound. I know the kind of pickups he used but he always had that really sweet low sound. How does he do that?

I'm sure his rig had something to do with it, but I firmly believe tone has alot more to do with the fingers of the man who is playing than anything else.

i feel like he used heavy strings and the his unique rig, all together gave that sound.
