This is for those that have installed the OBEL w/buffer in a SG. Did you have to route the cavity bigger or did it fit? I was going to install it in my Brian May custom guitar but the builder said since its already a tight space it would need a major route and I didnt want to do that. I have one of Waldos buffer ready to go just needs the right home.

You can see from this crime scene photo that the original cavity (the shielded part) was roomy enough to add a stereo output jack and a couple extra wires, which is all the OBEL consists of. I believe that a TPC-1 would fit with some careful positioning, but you would still need to make room for a 9V. Just please don't do this to your SG.

That photo reminds me of the Hawk fiasco, apparently he was doing some fentanyl fueled modifications to his in preparation for his big "stadium gig"
Be sure to get really really high before you fire up the router!

Wow.

I'd feel really bad for that guy if it weren't for the Mac. He's clearly not all there.
