Hey everyone!

Im usually a Jerry player, but ive been really diggin playing Bobby stuff lately. Im takin lessons with Seth, the master of Grateful Guitar Lessons, and was wondering if you all could help me out on stuff that would help for the tone. My current rig is a 72 Twin (preamped) MC2120, and 2x12 with Eminence red white and blues. Im looking for an 87 tone, specifically stuff like Let It Grow, so stuff like his preamp and pickups would be appreciated!!!!

Start off with pickups. EMG SA single coils with a EMG SPC control.

Cool. Are they what he used in his 87 Modulus and the Casio? Thats what im going for. I will definitely check them out.

The blackknife had bartolini's in it. The Casio had EMG's.

Did the Blacknife have the SPC controls in it?

Yes, it's the most important part of the electronics in the blackknifes
