It's festival season and we've got two for this weekend. Friday night we're playing the Floyd Yoga Jam - http://floydyogajam.com/ We're playing from 6:30-8:00. It's the first year for this festival and should be promising. Interesting concept nonetheless.

Saturday we're playing Catawba Farm Fest from 3-6pm - this should be a fun festival Acoustic Syndicate and Larry Keel are on the lineup. http://www.catawbafarmfest.org/index.php

I love doing festivals, no PA to haul, reasonably short sets, home early! Woot!

Both festivals were awesome! The stage at the Floyd Yoga Jam was probably the best stage I've ever played on. Massive sound system, good engineers, seemed like it sounded pretty big out front. Never played a Yoga Festival before - definitely different, but a good time. I left my pedalboard and guitar synthesizer in the backstage chaos and had to play the Catawba festival with just my old MXR Dist+ (modern version) which I can't remember ever using at a gig, and I loved it. It's really a pretty good distortion for a factory made pedal. I really missed the Earth Drive though . . . and the Mutron (Shakedown was a little strange to play clean - but fun). Hopefully the video from the Yoga Jam came out . . .
