Wolf 1.0 Fender Pickups

Hello to all
I saw on Waldo's page that Wolf 1.0 had stock Fender single coils in it. It grabs far and away my favorite period of Garcia's tone late-1973 through 1974.
What Fender pickups have people found (or Fender imitation) pickups have people found to best grab that sound? I have seen the thread re Wolf 2.0 but....

I have used the 1957/1962 pickups - not bad....

I've heard DAllens, Lollars, and Fralin all get closer than Fender Custom Shop.

I gotta say, Ive tried a number of different sets of strat units to put me in the ballpark of the era you mention and I always come back to the Fender 57/62 set. I dont think they are actually "Custom Shop" units but they are cloth wired and are vintage output. I think they sound great and you can regularly find them on ebay for less than $100 shipped. Cant beat that price! Ive also recently aquired a set of D.Allens 69s that everyone is talking about. Havnt wired them up yet but will follow up with a report.
