saw New Riders this past Saturday, they sounded great. Unbelievably, Buddy Cage was out there (he was recently diagnosed with cancer , I didnt expect him to show), but he played and sounded awesome.

Scott Murawski (Max Creek, Kreutzmann Trio, Mike Gordon Band) sat in with them for last 1/3 of set, He and Nelson had some cool stuff going on together! Dave Nelson can still bring it!

NICE!!
Buddy is slated to play this show as well...its going to phenominal!

We did have a change-up however...WALNUT GROVE BAND WILL NOT BE PLAYING

Awesome! That's only about 3 hours from home. Maybe the wife and I can make it. I opened for the New Riders back in the early-mid 90s. They were super cool.
