Hi all Can any one suggest whether travel insurance is necessary or Not?

It depends on if something bad happens on your trip!

Super loaded question. Depends. Are you insuring property (a guitar) yourself (medical) or a catastrophe (accidental death). I guess we'd need a bit more info. I own an insurance co that specializes in property/casualty (home and cars). Check with your current co but if you have renters or home insurance, your personal belongings are usually covered under that policy subject to your deductible even if off premises.

I struggled with this whole thing on getting insurance to fly with my Taylor, came to the conclusion that Amex Flight insurance for $50 was teh best deal. $2500 max coverage.
