I've come to have very definite favorite strings for my acoustic guitar, but have yet to settle for the electric. I usually prefer heavier strings yet there are so many different kinds to choose from, can anyone suggest sizes and brands for a Les Paul please? Thanks

I've been using D'addario 9's thru 12's= meh

I'm not picky about electric strings other than gauge. 10-46. I used to use D'Addario but mostly use Ernie Ball because the strings are individually wrapped (makes them easier to find to change. I don't like the coated strings especially for electric since there are three plain strings that will last no longer than any other plain string . . . unless you have really sweaty hands. I don't think that strings are that guitar specific or one being better for 24 3/4" or 25 1/2" scale.
